I am reliably informed that Mrs Alderson's Representatives had another meeting with Mr Lund and Co yesterday with regard to the certain allegation's towards Mrs A's conduct, guess what, STILL NO CHARGES have been brought against her, that said it is my opinion that Mr Lund and the rest of his disciplinary panel simply cannot find anything to charge her with,It is now approximately 5 month's since the suspension and in all my years of Industrial relation's (25yrs) I have never witnessed such a badly handled case as this one, Mr Lund maybe trying to buy time and find a solution , I don't know, but to keep one of his employees' on tenterhooks for such a long time is simply disgraceful, the cost of keeping Mrs Alderson at home is rising and only recently Mr Lund made a point in the Local press about getting value for money in all aspects of education, huh !!!
Given the length of time that this has been dragging on for , you may feel like me and wonder about the following, If the allegation's are groundless then why hasn't the person who originally made those allegation's also disciplined, clearly there is a huge lack of evidence in this case because they still have to charge Mrs A with anything in particular. Why is Nathan Hill still teaching in school when he quite clearly has indeed a case to answer,no disciplinary planned here, or is there ? Maybe the Authorities may not be able to risk another suspension, because it might look bad on the Headmistress and the school, Quite clearly there appears to be double standards wherever you look, Teachers at the school, are being treated very differently, pending which side of the fence you sit on, this simply is not a good way to run a school. As for Mr LUND,well I would like (yet again) to ask him to have the bottle to get to the bottom of this situation as soon as realistically possible, your action's are bringing more uncertainty to the school, and futhermore YOU HAVE A RESPONSIBILITY TO ONE OF YOUR OWN EMPLOYEE'S, BECAUSE AT THE END OF THE DAY,MRS ALDERSON MIGHT JUST BE INNOCENT IN ALL THIS,HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT THAT !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank heaven's I am not a teacher.

It is intersesting to look back at the OFSTED report that said there were "divisions in senior management." Mr Lund said that a teacher had been suspended for "professional differences" on radio wave.
It was quite a surprise to hear that the deputy head and head teacher have had shouting matches whilst children were in school, on more than one occasion!
With all the teachers who have already left it seems like the school is still having problems.
Makes you wonder who is really causing the problems!!! |

I have heard the same thing about arguments between members of staff so they are obviously not all agreeing still even though the disagreements seemed to be blamed on certain people eg Mrs Alderson who has not been there for 5 months.
Who are they going to blame/suspend next? is it anybody who doesn't agree with mrs Coupe?
I can't believe we are still waiting to hear what happens next to Mrs Alderson. Its funny how the school ran perfectly well before September 2004. There weren't any arguments as far as I could see. Now the school is never out of the paper.
I hope Mrs Coupe and the LEA are proud of themselves. _________________ TOGETHER WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE |

| After reading the local newspaper on Saturday I was extremely surprised to see that the reason given for the delay in this matter was procedural problems, now let me understand this right, the authority which runs our schools has had 5 month's to prepare their case, verify information, and come up with a punishment siutable for the offence, yet they are having procedural problem's, I have to ask if the Lea people actually are aware of their responsabilities to the teacher herself, as so far she has had nothing brought before her.In our country you are always assumed innocent until proven guilty, I would have thought 5 month's would have been a sufficient time period for this to have taken place. the poor woman must be beyond despair,I only hope that the powers that be stop playing politics and get to the bottom of this matter for the good of the teacher, the headmistress, the school and all the staff at the school |
