I hear there are two teaching jobs being advertised at Marton. Does anybody know which teachers are leaving? Does anybody know what's going on there any more? All I can say is the school is not what it was and its not likely to be while teachers are coming and going all the time. Has there been a meeting about Mrs Alderson yet? If so, Is one of these jobs Mrs Aldersons? Parents need to know whats going on and who there childrens teachers are going to be from one week to the next.
If anybody can answer any of these questions please tell me.

This is a very suspicious move and I do wonder how Mrs Coupe justifies these adverts.
By my calculations she has cost the school and the authority over
£200 000 in the last year, over and above the normal school budget. (I shall post figures on the information site at http://www.martonschoolforum.co.uk as soon as I have verified as many of the figures as I am able.)
This is the equivalent to approximately 10 teachers - yet she can advertise for 2 more. This at a time when we know for certain that other Blackpool schools are making staff redundant.
We also know for certain that school numbers are not increasing at Marton - more likely just the opposite. Are Nursery places and reception places full for September I wonder ?
I would love to see a response form the CEA, the governors, Mrs Coupe or other Blackpool heads to this scandalous mis-management of tax payers' money.

It is indeed a mystery why many people have not latched on to the fact that their money is being used to keep Marton running, yet little progress seems to have been made in resolving the many issues that Marton indeed has.Whether or not you have an affinity to Marton, the money pumped into the school to date could have been used on many other projects,it has already been posted on this board that other schools are needing money for projects yet the money is not available.Mr Lund should have the decency to fully explain where and how the tax payers money is being spent for the good of Marton, after receiving a letter from Gordon Marsden MP its seems apparent that the money spent to date on trying to keep the school going does not seem to be high on his priorities,he does say that he canot get involved in the L.E.A. disciplinary procedures and rightly so, but as my MP i do think he should be asking more specific questions of certain individuals to make sure that money simply is not being thrown at Marton to save peoples reputation's.
