Where is the Headteacher?New to this site and am very shocked at what I have read. I spoke to a parent who works for the Council and they pointed me towards this site.
I have been trying to speak to the Headteacher about my child. I haven't got anywhere with the class teacher and so I rang the School. I was told that the Headteacher was not available and would I like to speak to somebody else. I declined as I don't want to waste my time on the Deputy as previous encounters were useless. So I rang back the following day only to be told that she wasn't in again. It seems that she sometimes chooses to work at home!!!!
Now I wouldn't want to sound picky, but how can a Headteacher work from home???? You wouldn't expect to speak to your bank manager at home, would you?
I rang the Education Department only to be told that I should speak to the Chair of Governors. Why on earth does it need to get to this stage?
The school is falling apart.
If there are any other parents who would like to discuss this more formally in an attempt to try and finish what other parents couldn't, then send me a pm.
I can be influential with council leaders if necessary.
Regards
Mark
