Unhappy GovernorI was speaking to a Governor recently and I was surprised at what they told me. I shouldn't have been surprised after seeing all that has gone on myself.
The Governor told me that they were not happy with the way the school was being run.
They rarley had any meetings anymore.
The school is still no better than it was previously and was more than likely worse!
They have had unsheduled meetings at the Council offices.
There have been cover ups and mistakes made.
The problems are widespread in the Authority.
They have no faith in the LEA.
They can't voice any opinion at governor's meetings as they are talked at.
The school is in a serious mess and if they were inspected they would be in serious trouble.
They would not recomend that anyone sends their children to the school!
This was the final straw for me. I will be moving both of my children out of Blackpool school's altogether.
