Time for Action - posts from old websiteFind the truth Sep 27, 05 - 10:20 PM Time for action, not talk!!
As my son is still a pupil at the school, of course I am ‘Very’ concerned about what I am reading (who wouldn’t be), and the many accusations, and revelations being spoken of on this site!! But you can be sure: If I had found out that he had been interrogated for over an hour, frightened, and threatened with the Police, over such a trivial matter, that fur would have flown to say the least, and be most polite in a public forum.. I just can’t understand why no more than one parent didn’t kick up a right royal stink at the time, the same with the porn incident??
As a non-Gazette reader, most of the information on this site is ‘News’ to me!! My concerns is that there seams to be a lot of things being said, presumed, assumed, etc, by many, without the back up or the full ‘Facts’ being know: and I for one, have heard over the past week, many rumours and tit bits of ‘Gossip’ by parents
It is time for all parties to stop hiding and come out with the proven truth, on all maters concerning the school, staff, leaders, pupils, threats and accusations etc, etc, etc. and if nobody is willing to do this: then we need to find a third party who will: i.e. a local MP!! And instead of hiding on hear organise a ‘Public Meeting’ for all concerned parents, staff, and leaders to attend, to decide what we are going to do if we don’t get this information.. i.e. bring our kids out till we do!!!

I agree - we definitely need to get together and discuss this. Hopefully this is being arranged.
You mention that we should stop hiding - are you going to lead be example on this? Some of the people posting on here are frightened of doing so.
The satsuma incident is perfectly true. I have heard about it from several staff members. And I was told that the staff involved laughed about it afterwards.
And the pornography story is also true. I can guarantee this. Why don't you go into school and ask Mrs Coupe about it.
I think the fact that you don't want to put in writing the things that you have heard shows the difference between 'rumours' and 'facts'. I know that most of the posts on here are completely factual. Shocking, but true. None of the information is confidential, and many people can confirm it. Information about suspensions is always kept completely confidential, and I can assure you that no-one on this site, or governors, or staff is privvy to this information, and believe me we have tried to find out.
If you have any doubts I urge you to go into school, talk to the governors, go to the LEA. Ask questions, and demand answers. And please report your findings on here.

Thank you for responding to my message.
I can’t question the ‘Satsuma Incident’ nor ‘The Porn Incident’, as I was not there, and did not, see, hear, nor know about them, until reading about them on this site!!
Fear is a disabling thing, and I for one in my job probably know that moor than most!! But as previously mentioned, what I don’t understand is why after such an alleged serious incident, where pupils were caused to be upset, threatened, and made that afraid they could not sleep: is why a ‘Great Stink’ (to be polite) was not kicked up at the time, by ‘ALL’ of the parents of the children concerned at the time!!?? How many children were involved in this incident? 5-10-20-30? That’s up to around 30-40+ parents involved, and yet only one has commented, and from what’s been said, only ‘1’ parent put in a complaint!!
As said, if my child had been one of these, hell would have frozen over before I would have let it go, and I would have made sure I, and the rest of the parents involved, went forward and demanded ANSWERS!! There is ‘POWER IN NUMBERS’!!
I think it is obvious to all on this site that the head, governors, lea etc, are not interested in organising a parent-meeting, in talking to us, or giving us the answers we so rightly deserve: Too afraid of their own positions and jobs, and hiding behind the ‘Confidentiality badge’!! And again, Hell will freeze at this rate before they do!!
Surely those who have organised and man this forum, could organise and man a public meeting? Invite through this media, or by letters given out outside the school, all parents who are concerned to attend, and ‘INVITE’ the powers that be to attend, and if they come, they come, if they don’t, then we know they have something to hide (which we do already): and We THE PARENTS can then all decide what action to take!! If 100-200 parents all turned up at this meeting, and we ‘ALL’ decided at the meeting they chose to avoid, to take our children out of the school until they do talk to us, who is going to ignore, and be afraid of ‘US’ then? And Yes, I for one would be behind it! & put my name to it!
As said there is POWER IN NUMBERS, time for action and to see how many are truly behind this issue!! We can sit in our homes and chat about it all day, but nothing is getting done or changed.. in the meantime our kids are still in that school.. be afraid for them!!

I for one am in complete agreement over your request for a public meeting, firstly it would be easy to arrange but ask yourself this, would it be worth it right now knowing full well that Mrs Coupe will be hiding behing the LEA shool desk with David Lund, they won't show, I suggest we wait a week oh so when the LEA should be letting various parties know exactly what Mrs Alderson has been charged with,THEN we can get together and seek answers,I am in contact with Mrs Alderson's representative and eagerly waiting to hear the excuses that Mrs Coupe comes up with for suspended an extremly caring teacher.I believe MRS ALDERSON HAS BEEN TOTTALLY STITCHED UP BY THE HEAD AND THE AUTHORITIES,David Lund hasn't got the bottle to chair a meeting, and neither has Ruth, one thing they did not reckon on was the FAMILY atmosphere that our school has had for many years.Step up the campaign yes,but a week wont do any harm.
