Thanks Jon, for trying to get some answers to questions we've all been asking. Those of us in the Action Group know exactly how you feel - we have not had answers to anything. We have come up against a brick wall every time we have tried. You get to the point that you just don't think anyone is going to listen any more.
Cover up? It's the biggest cover up since Watergate! I can't wait for the truth to come out. There will be a lot of people with egg on their faces.
As for Ivan Taylor saying he backs the Headteacher I would like to know just how much he knows about the case! I would have thought he'd be keeping a low profile at the moment anyway.
Jon, please don't give up on this. Your hard work is so appreciated.
Lisa
Thank You
Dear Mr Bamborough,
I would like to thank you on behalf of a great many number of parents for helping us with the ongoing problems at Marton. So many people have turned a blind eye. It will be those people who will hang their heads in shame when the truth is finally allowed to be told.
You have the backing and the heartful thanks of the majority of parents at Marton (despite what the so called chairman of governors seems to think). It is a shame that the majority are so fearful that they dare not speak out. Hopefully your involvement will give them the courage to stand up and be counted.
Tracey
thankyou mr bamborough
I would like to thank Mr Bamborough for atleast trying to raise the current situation at the council meeting. I am hoping that we will finally get the answers to the questions we have been asking for such a long time, although by the reception he received at the council meeting it appears we may have to wait a little longer. The Action Group may not consist of 95% of parents, but i believe that if i alone had concerns then they should be investigated and taken seriously. Even if the outcome totally validated all that was said by the Education Authority and those running the school, which according to the newsletters sent out appears to be the Chair of Governors, atleast this could all be brought to a close. Answer the questions put to you please, but atleast take our view as important to us, even though they apparently appear insignificant to you.

Thankyou for your support Jon. It is encouraging to know that someone is willing to believe that we are not "A SMALL MINORITY OF VINDICTIVE PARENTS", and that we are very concerned about the education of our children and the reputation of our former school. All we want is justice for the dedicated, caring teachers of our school and for our questions as well as theirs to be heard and respected, and hopefully answered. If we persist long enough and shout loud enough together, then maybe we can get results. I have never known anyone from the Action Group to be aggresive or use abusive language, surely someone can give us credit for that under the circumstances.
