Sorry for taking so long to write again.
It is interesting to note that although there have only been a few posts so far, there have been no positive comments about the new Head or any of her 'yes' men & women.
Basically what is going on at Marton is wrong and must be stopped. There is a small parent support group that has been set up, but I haven't really got the authority to mention any names. But I would urge you to speak to other parents and I am sure you will find out who you need to speak to.
I will say what I can on a few of the questions that I've read:
Mrs Reidy - she is indeed off sick. I am not in a position to say exactly why. However, she will be watching this website and will be really pleased to know that she is so well thought of. I too have know Mrs Reidy for many years and she is a first class teacher and a fantastic person.
Mrs Alderson - nobody seems to know for sure why Mrs Alderson has been suspended. She also will be watching this website and I for one will back her all the way. She has been wronged, and as caring parents we owe it to her, all the other staff, and most of all the Marton children to try our very best to get her reinstated.
When Mrs Alderson was suspended all staff were told to say nothing to anybody about this, and not to speak to Mrs Alderson or else they would risk losing their jobs.
Mrs Coupe - she is a dangerous, controlling person. Marton is no place for her. She builds her empire by using threats and fear. She has a very small number of staff who are behind her, but there are others who are in fear of their jobs, so go along with her.
OFSTED report - this stinked of a set up. Things that came up in the report were obviously pointed out to the inspectors by the Head. The report had several mistakes/flaws in it - it is still possible to challenge/complain about this.
I could go on all day...........

I know which parents are supporting Mrs Alderson (and there are lots)through this terrible ordeal,if you would like me to put you in touch with them then please e-mail me and I will forward your letters and take it from there,please no silly names if I dont know who you are I will not pass on any information as they have said they cannot be sure who is actually reading this board,many thanks ,looking forward to hearing from you soon Freddie !!!!!!!

THE FACTS SEEM CLEAR....
SINCE SEPT O4.....
TO MY KNOWLEDGE AT LEAST SEVEN STAFF HAVE LEFT THE SCHOOL, THE HEAD GOVERNOR LEFT THE SCHOOL, CHILDREN HAVE LEFT THE SCHOOL, OFSTED INSEPTORS SLATED THE SCHOOL, THE SCHOOL IS NEVER OUT OF THE PAPER.
PRIOR TO SEPT 04 I DON'T RECALL ANYTHING REMOTELY LIKE THIS HAPPENING AT THE SCHOOL.
SINCE SEPT O4 THERE HAS BEEN A NEW HEADTEACHER.....AND SHE STILL DOESN'T KNOW MY CHILDS NAME.

The new Head doesn't even remember the name of the chairman of the PTFA! Mrs Lancaster used to know every child in that school, and their parents, and their circumstances etc etc.

How true - there is one teacher at Marton, whose name was still being spelt wrongly after several months!!

Hi Mary,
Sorry I didn't get chance to answer your long list of questions on my first post.
I think you know the answer to most of them - the result of a badly managed school! And I'm not talking about the Governors. Most of the Governors have been kept in the dark about all sorts of underhand goings on over the last year. She has a few supporters in the Governing Body, but most of them haven't been given the true facts about what's happened.
I just hope something can be done about this dreadful situation.

Thanks savemarton. You're right, sadly I do know the answers to these questions. Now we need to know how to solve the problems. Perhaps if enough parents stick together we will have a voice. Let's hope so!

Mrs Coupe has a lot of support she certainly has mine and my whole families support, I find her very easy to approach. The ofsted report highlighted a lot of problems, but what state would the school have been in if she had not have taken over, as anyone will see the last ofsted was six years ago and Mrs Coupe has only been the head for one year!!I hope when the right website address is in the paper the likes of Mrs Alderson, Mrs Reidy etc, will also see how much support Mrs Coupe is getting. She should just be allowed to get on with her job.

You really need to open your eyes. The OFSTED report was a huge scam - a catastophic set up. The truth WILL come out - believe me. I can understand how you might be railroaded into believing Mrs Coupe's lies, but please tread very carefully with her. Mrs Lancaster, together with the fantastic teachers and staff, made Marton a great school. The OFSTED inspection was always going to pick up things here and there that could be done better. And this would have been reported had Mrs Lancaster still been here.
Please ask me specific questions about the report that you are concerned about and I will answer your worries honestly and to the best of my ability.

You worry me grumpy,you have been brainwashed on a huge scale,maybe you need to come out of the forest a little more , open your eyes,take a look around you and dig a little deeper and you may find the truth,will you be as supportive then !!!!!!!!

my dear lady you have undoubtedly been blinded by the headteachers lies the facts that have been posted throughout this web page tell a totally different story there was nothing wrong with marton primary school until mrs coulpe took over and i am sad to say it went down very fast indeed from that point onwards and i am sure if you and others dig a little deeper you will find the same.there seems to have been a huge coverup of the facts as stated else where on this page i feel the lea has a lot to answer for.

YES IT IS STARTING TO BECOME CLEAR. THE LEA TEAM THAT CAME IN TO SCHOOL AFTER CHRISTMAS FOUND THE SCHOOL TO BE GOOD!!
OFSTED FOUND IT TO BE UNDERACHIEVING!
THE LEA INSPECTORS EITHER LIED, OR MADE A MESS OF THEIR INSPECTION.
EITHER WAY DAVID LUNND SHOULD SORT OUT HIS INSPECTION TEAM AS THEY HAVE MADE A MISTAKE.
UNLESS OF COURSE IT WAS OFSTED WHO MADE A MISTAKE?!?!?!?
YES IT IS CLEAR THAT THE SCHOOL IS NOW IN A MESS AND IT WILL TAKE MORE THAN JUST A NEW HEADTEACHER TO SORT IT OUT.
IF YOU BELIEVE OFSTED THEN YOU MUST BELIEVE THAT THE LEA MUST BE NEGLIGENT IN THEIR MANAGEMENT OF THE SCHOOL.
THE ONLY OTHER POSSIBILITY I CAN THINK OF IS THAT THE HEAD MADE THE SCHOOL APPEAR TO BE POOR TO OFSTED SO THAT SHE COULD APPEAR TO RESCUE IT.
I THINK TOO MANY PARENTS KNOW HOW GOOD THE SCHOOL WAS BEFORE SHE ARRIVED.
AND ALL THE TIME THE CLOCK IS TICKING ON OUR CHILDRENS EDUCATION.
