School Doing Well !?!?!

Well according to our local (useless) rag the school is now doing very well!!

I feel there has been a major cover up by the powers that be...

The suspension and various other incidents were covered up: a case of friends in high places, you scratch my back I scratch yours - call it whatever you will...

The council's top brass just sweep what they don't like under the carpet, manipulate the press and spin the line they wish...

I see the still unclear, (unjust?) suspension got a sentence / footnote at the end..

WHY WHY has this not been dealt with??

If you live work in this area or for our local council - be brave, but be very afraid...

I have lived abroad in three different countries and can safely say that this would not happen anywhere else in the western democratic (free?) society...

Stan, first and foremost the paper can only report on what is put in front of them, secondly I do think the paper also can see what's going on here, keep the faith,if you believe Mr Turner we are a really bad set of parents for kicking up all the fuss, well if he can get his own house in order and do what a chairman of the Governors should do and try and resolve any complaint amicably with a neautral prospective,he may indeed win back some of my respect which he is rapidly losing.Mr Turner apparently is a member of the Liberal Democrats,a party which advocates free speech UNLESS YOU WANT TO TALK AND QUESTION THE GOINGS ON AT MARTON SCHOOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So the 'so called' chair of governors at Marton is a member of a political party eh? You think he'd have more sense than to back the unforgiveable stream of wrongdoings that are going on at Marton. Mrs C has been very clever in not publicly making any statement. And now Mr T is even writing (or should I say signing) controversial letters that are sent to parents. They should be ashamed of themselves sending letters like this out from a school. It's ridiculous.
It seems that the HMI inspectors have urged the school to sort things out between the worried parents and themselves. As far as I know no-one who has shown concern has been approached by anyone from the school to try to do this. Does anyone know any more?

concerns

The Inspectors have clearly stated that they found concerns about the standard of education the children are receiving and they will be monitoring the school. Mr Turner did not point that out in his letter to parents, on the radio, or in the Gazette.
It is also strange that he said that parents should not use the media to complain about the school, but he is the one who has gone to the radio and press!!!????
It is good that the inspectors have listened to the parents and told the school to sort out their problems and that they will be keeping a close eye on the school.
