The following is an extract of a message sent today from Andy Mitchell, News Editor at Radio Wave. Please note his comments about anonymity!
"I have just returned from interviewing David Lund and am in the process of turning the story around for tomorrow's Breakfast News. A full version of the interview will also appear on the Radio wave Website. (www.wave965.com)
Please be aware that I have addressed some of the issues raised in so far as they pertain to a wider Radio Wave Audience. Whilst I appreciate the detailed questions you have posed, I have to balance those off with the wider interest of the rest of the station's audience.
From tomorrow morning, If any concerned parent would wish to comment on Radio Wave in response to Mr Lunds comments, they may do. The only provision is that they provide Radio Wave with a name and contact number so we can identify them. Contributors will be expected to "go on the record" and record an interview in the same way as Mr Lund has.
One of Mr Lunds concerns appears to be the anonymous nature of some of the comments that are being made. I have to concur that Radio Wave would only choose to vocalise concerns from bona fide contributors in order to keep the debate fair."

Thanks for that information Alan. I'm sure Mr Lund is fully aware of the reasons why some of us prefer to remain anonymous - for fear of repercussions for ourselves and our children. I know several people have already been threatened and intimidated in various ways by Mrs Coupe and Mr Lund.
You did such a good job on the radio last week, would you not be willing to go on again as our parent representative, Alan? I'm sure other parents would back me in recommending you!

I would be happy to give a response tomorrow (on the radio), but my working day is from 7am to 3.30pm - which makes it a little difficult for this occasion. However, you may be assured that a member of our Action group WILL be responding (Wayne). As he says, he does not have any family contacts within school anymore, so he can express how he feels, and fear no recrimination. Most of those who view these postings feel that they have more to fear, although I should add that you have a lot less to worry about than you had a month ago. The tide has begun to turn!
Mrs Coupe can not afford to be seen as the Hard Woman of Marton at the moment, not when she is so busy trying to present herself as the badly done to, sweetly smiling innocent that haunts the school gates each afternoon. The only control she has over parents is by threatening expulsion of our children - and just imagine how an incident like that would go down now with the media! I suspect her own attitude to the public is coming more under the influence of David Lund - who has his own (wider) agenda to consider.
Please - attend the meeting next week, and listen to myself and the other speakers then. Radio Wave and the Gazette are also invited - so plenty of opportunity for anyone with a passion for the truth to be uncovered to make a contribution!!

Funny how after the truth from David Lund came out, the Wave dropped the news like a hot potato. Probably saw that apart from one or two parents posting silly comments on this site, Marton is on the track for success again.

Please would you explain what you mean by Mr Lund's 'truths'. He did not reply to any questions. Even when questioned directly about the police involvement in the website he did not answer the question.
Do you really feel that we should not ask questions about a headteacher who
- threatens parents with police action - but when this is checked on the police deny any knowledge
- threatens police action about an independent open forum
- threatens infant children with police action
- removes teachers who were given good reports by Ofsted
- puts security guards on the school gates for a parents meeting.
All posts on this site have evidence to support them - that evidence is available for all who care to look. Please can you give your evidence for the statement 'one or two parents' If you or Mr Lund had taken the time to follow IP addresses of those who posted on the forums you would realise just how many are involved. In fact the three 'supporters' of Mrs Coupe who originally posted could all be traced to the same computer !!!
Finally. far from 'dropping the story like a hot potato' I have received a letter only this week from radio Wave thanking me for my contribution and have been assured that they are following the story very closely. They do have the rest of the Fylde to cover. Have you written to them about the issues and been told that they have dropped the story ?
