I would like to declare that solely due to the lack of help from my MP, and the active help of Jon Bamborough, I will be changing the way I vote at the next election. Some of you will consider that this is silly based on one event. However, in my opinion, and in my particular circumstances it is not the political party that is in government that has a massive influence on your life. Moreover it is the local support that you get when things go wrong. The parents of Marton begged for help and got none. Mr Bamborough - your family should be very proud of you. You have listened to people, looked at the evidence and realised that things are amiss. Others have not even bothered listening, never mind tried to look at the evidence. It is a very sad state of affairs when the local councillors are more interested in discussing whether or not a casino should be built in the town than the welfare of young children.

RE: Politics
Thanks for your comments Lisa.
However, I really do have no wish for party politics to become involved on here. I am not fishing for votes and, with the exception of Mr Turner, neither know or care about anyones party allegiances, also I don't think anyone involved in Marton School lives in my Ward. My interventions have been made because I think there are many parents, staff and teachers from Marton who didn't have a voice outside of this forum. I believe that many of them have valid questions that require honest answers.
I do not like bullying and will fight against it at every opportunity, regardless of where it comes from. Feeble attempts at bullying me into keeping quiet have been made but they have served only to stiffen my resolve in ensuring that the issues involved here can be examined in an independant, unbiased manner.
My invitation for those involved with Marton School to contact me in confidence remains. This invitation also extends to the school management , governors and members of the CSA.
Mr Bamborough
I acknowledge what you say. And I can assure you that I know that none of your involvement is to do with politics. I am not in your ward so wouldn't be able to vote for you, as you say about the vast majority of people involved in these issues. But it has made me think carefully about the attitudes of those who have NOT cared a toss about our problems.
Thanks again for your concern.
