I AM AWARE OF THE SATSUMA INCIDENT ALSO, BUT HOW MANY OF THE PARENTS OUT THERE ARE AWARE OF THE INCIDENT JUST AFTER EASTER WHEN A SUPPLY TEACHER IN Y1 WAS ESCORTED OFF THE SCHOOL PREMISIS BY MRS COUPE FOR VEIWING SOFT PORNOGRAPHY ON THE CLASSROOM COMPUTER.TIS TEACHER HAD BEEN ON SUPPLY AT THE SCHOOL FOR AT LEAST TWO WEEKS BEFORE HE WAS DISCOVERED. I DO BELIEVE THAT ALL THE STAFF WERE MADE AWARE OF IT AND TOLD THAT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHOULD PARENTS BE ALLOWED TO FIND OUT. IT WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE BEEN REPORTED TO THE AURTHORITIES BUT STAFF WERE NEVER MADE AWARE OF THE OUTCOME.
QUESTION. WAS IT ACCTUALLY REPORTED OR WAS IT KEPT QUIET?
QUESTION. WITH THE RECENT REPORTS IN THE PAPER ON TEACHERS IN THE AREA BEING CHARGED RGARDING PORNOGRAPHY WHY WAS THIS NOT REPORTED AT THE TIME IN THE GAZETTE?
QUESTION AS PARENTS OF CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL SHOULDNT WE HAVE BEEN AWARE OF WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

I heard rumours of this at the time I didn't believe it because it was such a serious thing to happen my friend has a child in year 1 I find this really worrying we deserve answers we are parents we need to know if our children are in ANY kind of danger I am DISGUSTED that it was kept quiet where is this teacher now is he still working in th area???

I am so shocked at some of the things I have read on this website what else has been covered up that we don't know about? how many more things are going to crawl out of the woodwork? lets have full honesty now.

I am very shocked and was unaware of this story,my child was at the school at this time, I think we should have been told about this incident, if it indeed took place, question's need to be asked why we were kept in the dark,how many more skeleton's are going to come out of our school, it just goes from bad to worse,I was in school regularly when this is meant to have took place,I heard nothing from within school, were people told to say nothing,like other stories on the board

I AM VERY SAD TO SAY THAT THIS INCIDENT DEFINATELY DID HAPPEN I KNOW THIS AS FACT AS I HAVE VERY GOOD FRIENDS WORKING IN THE SCHOOL AND AT THE TIME THEY WERE EXTREMELY WORRIED AS THEY TO HAD CHILDREN IN THE SCHOOL BUT AGAIN TO SCARED TO SPEAK OUT.STAFF WERE TOLD THAT A CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION WAS UNDERWAY AND THAT IF WORD GOT OUT THEN THEY THEMSELVES COULD BE PROSCUTED.

I can also confirm that this incident is true. It was covered up, but we should have been informed about this. If this teacher has access to this material how can we be sure the children were/are not able to access it. Looks like Year 1 had all sorts of incidents last school year.
We need to spread the word about the goings on. If you are concerned about your children you owe it to them to follow your convictions.

IF THE HEAD TEACHER IS NOT PREPARED TO MEET THE PARENTS PAST AND PRESANT AT THE SCHOOL WHY DONT THE PARENTS ORGANISE A MEETING AND INVIYE DAVID LUND AND THE GOVENORS AND THE HEAD TO COME ALONG IF THEY COME ALL WELL AND GOOD IF THEY DONT THEN THAT SAYS AN AWFUL LOT. WE COULD CONTACT THE GAZETTE AND RADIO WAVE ASK THEM TO ADVERTISE A TIME AND PLACE EVEN INVITE THEM ALONG TO THE MEETING TO REPORT ON ITS OUTCOME.I THINK WE NEED TO STAND TOGETHER AND SHOW THEM ALL WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE WANT.

The parents do not ned to be kept informed, if you want to know all you have to do is ring the Police Station and find out.

I don't really understand "concerned person"s comment. I am pretty sure the police were not informed, and even if they had been, do you think they are going to answer questions about such a serious matter over the phone, or in person, come to that? I very much doubt it. What we are saying is, we feel we should have been informed that there had been an incident involving computers with the supply teacher and he/she was asked to leave. We need to know our childrn are safe.
