newsletter to parents from Chair of GovernorsIf Mr Turner wishes to quote from posts on this website, in order to make a point to parents, then perhaps he wouldn't mind quoting in full next time, and not taking a quote totally out of context.
In comparing the situation in school with the situation in Nazi Germany, I was making the point that, in both cases, everything appeared fine on the surface, whilst beneath the surface, everything was certainly not fine. Whichever view one takes on the school situation, it is obvious that all is not well, for whatever reason. I also apologised to anybody who might have found the analogy offensive. I fail to see anything defamatory in what I wrote. I was describing the situation as I see it.
If Mr Turner is looking to redress the balance, perhaps he would like some of the quotes I have saved from the original website, posted by supporters of Mrs Coupe. These do contain comments which are both defamatory and slanderous about past members of staff, and the suspended teacher.

f.o.a. mR tURNERMr Turner, after reading the newsletter that you put together on Wednesday, I must take this opportunity to raise the following points. Your loyalty towards the Headmistress is amirable, and at the same time you point out how she is under pressure, yet you fail to consider the teacher who has spent the last 16 weeks at home wondering whether or not she has a job to return to. You also fail to acknowledge the staff at the school who have grave misgiving's regarding the direction that the school is going in,you say Marton is a happy school, well the children may be, but many of your staff certainly are not,have you actually spent time to speak to every single member of staff ensuring them confidentiality,to find out what their concern's are.I know that some members of staff simply do not trust the official avenue's to go through to put forward their greviances.You criticise the web site yet you have taken comment's made on it totally out of context,you fail to mention the derogatory post's that supported your school's views !! You supply your own personal opinion's regarding many issues yet this letter did not represent the views of all the Govenors of the school. The instances quoted by the Action Group seemed to have escaped your attention !! Downloading Porn at School, an OFSTED report that simply does not represent our school in any way shape or form. You fail to acknowledge how a teacher resigned without any job to go to,yet the official line from school was that he had left to take up another post. You fail to mention how one of the staff has tried on more than one occasion to shut down the web site, when he contacted the Host of the web site was he REALLY representing the school and Govenors like he made out. Overall I believe your news letter was nothing more than a propaganda excercise to discredit anyone who dares to speak against you the head or the school,.Well Mr Turner bearing in mind that you are in fact chairman of the Govenors I think you need to spend more time looking at the actual complaint's THAT YOU HAVE INDEED ALREADY RECEIVED(contrary to your letter) rather than throwing ridiculous allegation's at anyone who dares challenge you.
