message for M. Bell

Did you ever get a reply from Mike Turner about your complaint (see post 14th Nov) I know you wrote to governornet and they said to that 14 days was a reasonable length of time to wait. Could you put on a post to let us all know the outcome please?
Thank you
Chris

Letter to Mr Turner

My apologies Chris.

You can probably guess that I received no reply to any of the questions I raised. I am totally unable to comprehend how Mr Turner can just ignore those points which I raised - many of which were not 'vindictive' comments about Mrs Coupe, as he is at pains to point out to parents, but are actually based on unacceptable practices. He is not fulfilling his role of giving a fair hearing to everyone - in fact only last week he attacked the parents group in the press - despite the valid grievances they hold. I think that now the vindictivess is quite clearly coming from his direction.
However, you are probably aware now that an official complaint has been sent to the DfES, which I am sure will cover all the things I raised - becuase everyon else is raising them on this site too.

Why didn't he answer my questions ? Your guess is as good as mine.

1) He still does not realise just how big the parents group is, or realise the number of dissatisfied parents. It is obvious that he is still thinking it is only a small group (he keeps saying so and is obviously trying to convince himself) and that it will gradually just fade away - especially if he blinks hard enough and makes a wish.

2) Mrs Coupe intoduced a new complaints procedure where she is in total control of complaints - something I am sure which will not exist anywhere else in our education system.

3) Perhaps he didn't understand all the words.
