Marton School-Family SchoolIt is a shame that the school is no longer the school it uesd to be, Marton was a traditional family school where the parent's teachers and children were all 1, over the past 9 years my children have attended Marton and are to this day very proud of their old school, The school had an atmosphere about the place where you were more than willing to help out, whenever they needed assistance, most of the credit went to Lynn Lancaster who set the school out to have values, where children respected each other aswell as themselves. The children were taught to open doors doors for others without think about it, and every time I visited school I thought their manners were impeckable. Teachers came and went over a period of time, but nothing on the scale that they are at present, I am not surprised just how many supply teachers are currently working at Marton.I have got involved in trying to reinstate Mrs Beverly Alderson because she(along with others) played a big part in making the school what it was.Remember we are only going back some 15 months here !!! Never in the 9 years as a parent/PTFA volunteer/parent helper was my opinion toatally disregarded by anyone,the head of the school would always have a constructive arguement for any matters raised,Lynn would be strong, but she never ruled the school with a rod of steel.The state of the school sadden's me greatly, the staff are split,there are allegation's and counter allegation's being thrown all over the media,and certain children at the school are having new teachers on a regular basis,this can only damage the children's education,please support Beverly ALDERSON,IF YOU KNEW HER,OR IF YOUR KIDS WERE TAUGHT BY HERE,then please send me a letter of support to munchie.bfc@blueyonder.co.uk I will keep fighting as it is not a crime to question your superious !!!!!!!!!!!!!
