Thank you for your reply on the 'Open letter to admin' thread, however you clearly had difficulty with my original post. My letter to Mr Turner was not a complaint, there was no need for it to go through the school's complaints procedure - which, if you are connected with the school, will be aware that all complaints go through Mrs Coupe so need not necessarily reach Mr Turner. My letter was an open letter with a request for Mr Turner as Chair of Governors to try to facilitate an end to the conflict. He seemed to me at the time to be in the best position to do this. I made it very clear in my letter that my contact details would be given to him at the appropriate time when we all know that we can discuss issues openly and fairly with each other.

Now we come to legal matters. You stated 'I am sure the site administrator has a legal obligation to give adequate contact information, as they are held accountable for the postings on this site. So the fact that 'you are sure' means that it is correct information ?

Through all the problems the msag has been accused of innacuracies when in fact we constantly check and double check our information. You clearly have not done this. I have now thoroughly checked all the terms and conditions required by the owners of the software which run this site, and the hosts of the forum, and they state quite categorically that the administrator does NOT need to give any personal details to anyone who asks. You are well able to check this for yourself. If you wish to contact admin - as he has explained many times on this forum, you are able to do this through private, confidential messages. You can do this easily through the member list.

As for legal knowledge. It is common knowledge that I have taken legal advice concerning my rights to post on a forum under the new human rights act. This was done in December when it became known that Mrs Coupe was attempting to prevent our freedom of speech by closing the site. The solicitor has copies of all correspondence between school and Bravenet regarding the first attempts, and dates of Mrs Coupe's visits out of school in the second attempt. Interestingly he warned me about the next possible action by those opposed to the site :-

"if they change tack and publish in any way anything which is false and malicious in an attempt to discredit the site then you could consider a claim for damages for malicious falsehood in the County Court"

I hope that Enigma reads this post - I have been surprised that my solicitor's warning has taken so long to actually happen.

What a shame that people such as yourself cannot openly discuss any of the issues. Perhaps if all posters in support of Mrs Coupe tried to bring serious opinions to the forum, with some facts to support them, then not so many would need to be removed.

This is a message for you and for Misstery (another new poster who does not check all the posts before posting incorrect statements) I have repeated this over and over and over - when admin does not think my posts are suitable, they too are removed. The posts are not JUST about opinions they are about opinions related to Marton with information to back them up.
