I have just re-found your site, the other one I could not get into for some reason and as I do not buy the local rag have been left in the cold somewhat trying to find out snippets of info from other mums in the playground.
I just do not know what to do concerning my child at the school, at the moment he is in the younger end and as I am not happy with the schools locally I do not know where I would send him.
I am pleased the site is back up and running, I try to be open minded and see this through both sides, and believe me would prefer to be 100% confident in the school but sadly I am not.
When you hand out leaflets where do you stand? I have never been given one or seen one yet I know others have. I was given a leaflet by a lady who stood with the lollipop lady one afternoon which was in support of the school pleading for support.
Turners letter home just made me laugh and was binned, what a waste of good paper.

Concerned mum, you are right to be concerned.
If you have read through the latest posts you will see that things at Marton are far from satisfactory - from anyone's point of view. There have been many incidents in school that I would not be happy about as a parent - some more serious than others, as I'm sure you would agree. All we can do is make up our own minds, using the information available to us. However, I can confirm that there have been yet more serious incidents within school which are not currently public knowledge. When they come out, I'm sure people will wnder how they were ever taken in in the first place - if they were.
A copy of the leaflet has been posted by Alan Veale, so if you did not receive your own copy there is still an opportunity to read what it said. I think it appears in the forum about the Chair of Governors, under the thread entitled, "Mr Turner's words of wisdom". There is also a copy of Mr Turner's letter, for those who were unlucky enough not to receive it!
I hope that things can get sorted at the school, so that you do not have to remove your child, but, whatever happens, it is going to take an awful long time for the school to return to what it was less than two years ago.
Meanwhile, concerned mum, continue to have an open mind, listen to all sides, decide what you think is the truth, and act on that.
