Health and Safety?I heard something very worrying yesterday, which I think is a serious health and safety issue.
Mr Nathan Hill, seems to have promoted himself to school electrician (aswell as being Guardian of the Website). He has been climbing up into the roof space in school, installing new wiring, which I guess is for computers.
Is Mr Hill a qualified electrician?
If so, has he been officially passed to do this job?
If not, who has given him permission to do it?
I have two children in school. I do not want to risk their lives in a fire, caused by faulty wiring, carried out by somebody who is not qualified to do such a specialised job. Nor would I like anybody to be injured by Mr Hill falling from the roof space.
I thought schools had to be extra careful these days. My daughter told me that | Quote: | | even teachers aren't allowed to stand on chairs in case they fall. |
I shall be making official enquiries about this. If any other parent is worried please send me a private message via this website.
I will report back with the outcome.

I know a letter was sent, pointing out this breech of safety, over a week ago.
Surprise surprise, I heard yesterday that Mr Hill is STILL carrying out these dangerous activities. Unbelievable - do they WANT an accident to happen?
If anybody is hurt or injured, or even worse, God forbid, they can't say they weren't warned.
I'm disgusted!
