Enough is enough.

Come on, enough is enough. This is childish and not helping either side of the debate. Let those who have a genuine comment do so, without fear of intimidation from time wasters and medlers who just want to stir things up for their own amusement. Lets get back to the debate of "whats happening at Marton School". Thank-you.

I agree Annie and apologise for any part I may have played in the fiasco. I had to expose the posters for their intentions, but trust that my intervention will now return to a minimum.

As far as other posters are concerned I must reiterate that all genuine posts are still welcome on this site.

I will continue to intervene where posts are malicious, abusive or plain right stupid - regardless of the point of view they take. As has been pointed out on this site, I have removed and edited posts from both 'camps' (if that is the right terminology).

Thank you.

How can you expect people supporting Mrs Coupe to post on this website and stand up for what they think is right and offer another side to the debate when posts doing as such keep getting removed. If they look at the website and see this, they are going to think it is not worth it. Personally myself I would like to see what teachers at the school think and how they are feeling.

I totally agree, Andrea. We do not wish for any posts to be removed -UNNECESSARILY. The problem arises when anyone simply posts messages that are intended to make a mockery of the debate itself. That gives an entirely wrong impression of the school and its staff. This is a serious issue, and I DO take it seriously, believe me! I have also referred to the debates in Parliament, which are also serious in their mission, but can be entertaining to watch. Parliament has much stricter rules than are being applied here, and all we ask is that if people wish to post on this site, then they do it with a healthy respect for other people's opinions, and the common goal of trying to get the school back to "normality".

"Tom Riddle" had some valid points to make, which were duly noted, but then it became pointless manipulation and ridicule - which achieves nothing for anybody. I am sure that anyone viewing those messages would have a very poor opinion of the type of teaching staff we have at Marton School if they took that person's mockery as representative of the sort of person looking after our children's education. That does nothing to "protect the school" - rather the reverse.

We keep forgetting that the teachers at Marton are too afraid to speak out and I don't blame them!!!

Think about what happened to the last teacher who spoke out!!

People with careers, families and mortages will just keep their heads down because they have an axe over their heads.

As stated previously the term: "Remember what happened to Mrs Alderson" has been used readily in the school. It was even used towards a teacher who dared question the logistics of an amended timetable detail!!

A shocking fact! BUT A FACT!!
