Other threads are debating Mr Turner's meeting in school last week. I urge everyone to think about his tactics, and those of Mrs Coupe over the last year - in regard to parents and teachers. The following points are taken from Bully OnLine , the website of the UK National Workplace Bullying Advice Line
On average there are 130,000 applications to employment tribunal in the UK; in other words, every year in the UK, 1 in 215 jobs ends in a tribunal. This suggests of something fundamentally wrong with workplace Britain
bullying is intrusive and violational in nature and this could be a breach of Article 3 of the Human Rights Act: no one shall be subjected to inhuman or degrading treatment
the person who normally handles a grievance is usually the bully, or a friend of the bully
if the bully is a co-worker, the manager who would handle the grievance has already failed as a manager for allowing the bullying to occur and for failing to deal with the bullying before it got to the grievance stage
the bullying manager has lots of friends in management and will blacken the target's reputation before grievance procedures begin
most bullies will successfully lie, cheat and deceive their way through grievance
the bully will make sure the grievance lasts as long a possible (eg a year or more)
the bully will deny the target access to records, sometimes rifling the target's desk and stealing notes
the bully will ban the target from having contact with fellow employees
the bully will threaten fellow workers into withdrawing support for the target
In the light of all these points I urge ALL staff at Marton to examine their consciences and to think about how Mrs Coupe has dealt with Mrs Alderson, and with the parents who have tried to ask questions concerning the school. From my perspective all of the above describe Mrs Coupe's management approach and how she has dealt with the suspension of Mrs Alderson.

In E Maltby's posting the first quote on bullying is

The way I see it is that this applies directly to MrsCoupe the websites have been going for more than five months now and most of them are directed at Mrs Coupe, some people are very disrespectful by putting just Coupe, surely this is degrading, I and I am sure a lot of you would not like being called by just your surname.

Is this really all you can contribute to all the issues of the last 18 months - that it is not fair to call someone by just their surname ? Oh dear.
We now know that the bullying by Mrs Coupe has been going on a long time, and that Mr Turner is fully in support of it. Teachers are suffering. Don't you realise that Mrs Coupe is head of the school, she has had SOLERESPONSIBILTY for all the events of the last 18 months.
THAT IS WHY COMMENTS ON THE FORUM WERE AIMED AT HER. THE SUCCESS OF THE SCHOOL AND THE WELFARE OF ALL THOS IN IT ARE HER RESPONSIBILTY.

It still does not alter the ft that as far as I am concerned she is the one eing bullied if we are to go on what is being said in the first posting

Andrea, I fear you really have no idea of the scale of what has gone on. Being called by one's surname is nothing compared to the bullying that has been perpetrated at Marton since Mrs Coupe took over.
The whole point of this website is to give people a say. I cannot see anything that constitutes bullying. Anything that is questionable (from any point of view) is removed by the administrator.
Read the whole website before deciding that Mrs Coupe is being bullied.
