Apparently Mrs Blaydon (supply teacher removed from Y6 last week) was back working in Y2 today. ???????????? I wonder what reason was given for getting rid of her, and then getting her back. A letter was sent home to parents, but I'm not entirely sure what it said - can anyone help?
Why is Mrs Norbury teaching Year 6? I have heard of complaints from parents about this. And surely she can't be happy about it. Who is looking after SEN children? Are they receiving the attention they deserve? Seems like there's total disruption. Please Mr Lund take note!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, guess what??? Mrs Baines, (remember - she made the grand exit, along with that ridiculous letter that was allowed to be sent out last year), is now back in Y1, covering a maternity leave.

It's like a farce. I wonder which staff will be changed next week. Come on Mr Lund - let's get back Mrs Alderson, Mr Richardson and Mrs Reidy. And let's get some adverts for the remaining couple of posts.

Incidentally I'd lay good money on there being very few (if any) applicants for the 2 teaching jobs recently advertised (closing date last Friday). And I for one would be very annoyed if people were selected for the jobs just because no-one else applied. Governors please be very careful of who you choose to employ - because the book stops with you! And after all, these are positions with extra responsiblity.

As far as I know there are Supply Teachers in the following years:
Year 1
Year 2 - not supply but Deputy Head so not a consistent permanent teacher
Year 4
Year 5
Year 6 - have had supply, now Mrs Norbury SEN teacher

That means only Reception and Year 3 have got regular teachers. 2 year groups only.

If she is back at school then i for one welcome her back, she was there through the "Lynn Lancaster years" whether she supports the head or not is not an issue, but we have got one good teacher back in the school and the children will only benefit.
