Mrs Brookes is teaching one Y6 class. The problem is she spends so much time out of the classroom the children are being given supply teachers and this is causing concern amongst parents. With SATs looming ever nearer, it will no doubt impact on results again this year. There is very little consistency in any year group, as so many staff are off sick regularly. There are still a number of staff off on long term sick.
The high calibre staff that Mr Turner praised in his last news letter have turned out to be New teachers. Sorry if that sounds unprofessional but professionalism left Marton a long time ago. The way Mrs Coupe speaks to her staff is a fine example.
