I have just read the above messages.
Is it true that Mr Richardson left Marton with no job to go to ? I would like to hear the head's comments on why someone would be so desperate to get away from the school.

It is absolutely true - I have it on reliable authority that Mr Richardson handed in his notice with no job to go to, as he could not stand what was going on at Marton. Fortunately for him, he was offered a temporary post (one-term only) - but this was only AFTER he had handed in his notice. When letters went out to parents it was said that he was leaving for another post - implying that it was a career move. It was never said that it was a temporary post, or that he had taken a pay cut. That's how desperate he was to leave Marton. This is a brilliant teacher, well-loved by pupils and parents, forced into this situation by the changes at Marton since last September. My daughters, their friends and I are all absolutely disgusted that he had to leave AND that thre was a coverup (yet again) when he did. We really need to get things investigated fully.
