I heard Steve Weaver, chief executive of Blackpool Council, on the radio yesterday after Blackpool's failure to secure the casino deal. He said Blackpool would not give up, this was only a set back, they believed in the cause and they would continue to fight for it etc.

I couldn't help thinking that he was echoing the sentiments of the MSAG over the problems with Marton School - problems which seem to have been ignored or glossed over by Blackpool Council.

Perhaps now Mr Weaver can understand the anger and frustration we all feel?
