The main story on BBC's Northwest Tonight programme this evening higlighted the increasing problem of Headteachers bullying and intimidating members of staff. The TUC brought up this topic at their Annual Conference today. One particular school that they mentioned stated that despite complaints by staff nothing was done about the situation until recently. Sound familiar? Blackpool council - I think you should think very carefully about this. I know that several people are contacting the BBC following today's article, including at least one teacher. Does this not speak volumes. Staff will not trust their employer, but trust the media!
